On December 2, 2025, Blue Carbon Technologies proudly joined forces with Sonikara Solar Electro and the Ministry of Energy of Burkina Faso to host the Burkina Faso Solar Industry Forum in Ouagadougou. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing solar industry localization, strengthening national energy sovereignty, and accelerating the growth of a competitive solar sector in Burkina Faso.
The forum brought together representatives from government, industry, and the investment community to explore the future of solar energy in the country. It provided a platform to showcase innovative solar technologies, foster collaboration between public and private sectors, and promote the development of the full local solar value chain.

In his keynote, Cyriaque Dakoua, Second Counsellor of the Embassy of Mali in Burkina Faso, delivered a compelling call to action: “I urge everyone to embrace solar energy. Our solutions are designed to be accessible to all, ensuring even the most underserved communities can benefit.” His remarks underscore the social impact of solar energy and reinforce the importance of making sustainable solutions accessible to every citizen.
